heads up for anyone on mobile. we just shipped a fix that removes "Sign in with email" on mobile. a recent bug logged some people out, and signing back in with email is a session-only login. it doesn't put your recovery phrase back on your device, so you can't transact with your Farcaster wallet or connect the wallet

heads up: we're working on adding notifications and improving the general flow when your account runs out of storage. some got pushed this morning before a frontend change went out so the link isn't working yet, but will soon! for now you can re-up storage on mobile -> Settings -> Storage -> Buy more storage

android users: yes, we know. we've been heads down on fixing android performance since the first reports and have multiple devs working on it as their highest priority. it's proving to be a particularly stubborn problem. we appreciate the patience and the quick feedback while we work through it.

heads up: working on a backend issue causing issues with casting (web & mobile). should be fully resolved soon.

a large batch of Farcaster Pro memberships expire tomorrow. we're taking our time to figure out what pro should look like from here. both the community and the team are in a different place than when pro launched, and we want to be very intentional about figuring out what the right mix of pro features is. the old pro

pls tag or dc me when you see spammers/scammers, on the feed, in the wallet, in direct casts. a lot of them are at least smart enough to not include our accounts, so we don't always see what you see. i can take care of them manually and also make sure the devs know so they can continue iterating to improve our systems.

re: mobile app performance this is likely one of the most annoying issues we have looked at. expo 53 reached its official end of life when expo 55 was announced. farcaster apps were on 53 and needed the 55 upgrade, this was a known thing even from late last year. the upgrade had many breaking changes. one of those
