What it is
A source-gated aggregate of reported fund subscriptions and redemptions, or a labelled estimate from split-adjusted shares outstanding multiplied by NAV.
Why it matters
ETF flow shows whether regulated wrappers are expanding or contracting in the primary market. Breadth, concentration, and coverage make it more useful than one loud ticker.
How we read it
We include verified active direct and staked products only, require exact source receipts, keep missing products unavailable, and publish a partial aggregate only when known prior-AUM coverage reaches at least 95 percent.
What it cannot tell you
A creation is not secondary-market volume and does not prove an issuer bought tokens for cash that day. In-kind baskets, staking rewards, fees, splits, and source revisions can change the visible holdings or flow calculation.
